Brigham




I just updated my Picasa photo editor and I'm just trying out some tricks on photo editing. My subject for this experiment is my dog, Brigham. He's a mixed breed of Golden Retriever and local askal.

Got him from a puppy vendor when he was just four weeks old. He was also my model when he was just a puppy for my blog about how to put watermark on photos (below):

    I read somewhere that the Golden Retriever breed is the friendliest of the dog breeds. May I also add that it's also very playful. He's as playful now as he was when he was still a puppy.

    Mozart is a British yellow Labrador. He also is very playful and is very patient with our grandsons.

    Azkals rule! Ganda talaga halo ng pinoys with foreigners :)
    we have a black lab with a white tie name is T Bone...parents were a lab & a dalmatian..., another dog is a mixed breed Belgian Malinois & a Husky, Wagyu is his name & he has one eye of a husky(smoke grey) & the other eye brown from the malinois.
    take note of the names & you can tell we have a carnivorous family.

    sus, ka cute nga! We have just bought a puppy ourselves since Feb., now 5 months. She's a black labradoodle - cross of labrador and poodle. It's like having another baby... ang trabaho!

    We had a dog (before Brigham) whom we called Abo. This was short for "adobo." Hehehehe...

    Labradoodle, hahahahaha.... Nice name! Yes, ma-trabaho, pero at least you don't have to send them to college and you get total, complete and unconditional loyalty!

    currently, 2 na lang...puro Jap spitz...
    yung isa, si Kenji, binigay ko as gift to my eldest godchild ...e ung mader yata ang tuwang-tuwa naging pet na nya...hehe

    left are Kobey and Enishi.

    Before, at different times, I had Snow, Megumi (Meg for short), Rifle, Vixen, Bamba, Snowball and other dogs...kc marami rami na ring dumaan sa buhay at bahay namin...

    plus hamsters, ducks, parrot, roosters, hens, myna birds (long time ago), rabbit (naubos ang mga kangkong namin) etc.

    we caught a small reticulated python in our aviary, ngayon nilagay naming siya sa aquarium, now more than 3 ft...name is Sneaky
    actually gusto ko siyang matutong lumangoy :)

    di naman sabay sabay but we always had pets at home...

    pati yung chickens and ducks naging pets..pati turkey..kaya when the time to cook them came...may reprieve palagi...LOL

Rating: ★★ Category: Movies Genre: Action & Adventure I've been watching out for this movie since I first saw it as a trailer for one of the movies I saw recently. I just thought that my longing for a great martial arts movie minus the spectacular location shootings and the cast of thousands that usually attend many of the recent films in this genre, e.g. Hero, and House of Dagger of Jet Lee, and without the zany humor that are the mainstay of Jackie Chan movies, would be a little refreshing if not a little nostalgic for the Kung Fu films of the great Bruce Lee. I am happy to note that indeed there were no spectacular scenery shots, and the story and action very serious indeed. Of course, how else can a portrait of an assassin be presented but seriously. But in so far as action ala Bruce Lee was concerned, it didn't quite measure up. If there is one word though that will always be used to describe this movie is Gory. Three-Days-Two-Nights at Pearl Farm. The Davao Pearl Farm is a sea side beach front resort located in an island called Samal which is just about 45-minutes motorised boat ride from Davao City. See http://www.pearlfarmbeachresort-davao.com/ppc/ . One can take a plane from Manila to Davao City and take a cab directly to the Pearl Farm jump-off point and main front office. It could take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes (depending on the time of day and traffic situation) from the airport towards the direction of the Waterfront Hotel (formerly the Insular Hotel) to the marina where Pearl Farm Resort exclusive boats/ferries carry visitors across to Samal island with four trips (8AM, 1.30PM, 4PM and 6PM). For day-trips, one can take the 8AM ride to the island and the 4PM ride back to Davao City.
