Rotorua: Romancing the Trees
Lake Rotorua - http://www.newzealand.com/int/article/lake-rotorua/
Walking along the the shores of Lake Roturua, I just spent sometime looking around and saw the trees which have been laid bare by the recent winter. Bare as they are, they exude a certain beauty as they lift their arms to the clear blue skies as if in homage and gratitude for the return of the sun. In time they will be coated with thick luxurious foliage that will glisten in the afternoon spring time sun as if they never have shed them at all.

And the romance between the sun and the sky that has sprang in spring will be lovingly nurtured till it gracefully grows through the seasons.

ReplyDeleteHi Nons. Thanks. Glad you liked it. Will try to post more photos in another album later.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures do justice to your prose, Chito. Love this post.
ReplyDeleteNZ seems to bring out the poet in you. Write on, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the complement, Lou. The leafless tree twigs of winter and couples staring out into the ocean create a very deep emotional impact on me. I see both as representations of the universal expression of love both by mother nature and humans. It's really a sight that's truly magnificent to behold. And what luck! I get to see them here in this romantic city of Rotorua, everyday! Shoot the fever. Dang the flu!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I just let my camera do the talking. Afterall, a picture is really worth a thousand words.
ReplyDeletelove. love, love this photo blog!!!
