ReplyDeletechito, i bet di ka na natulog no? i remember nung nakatira pa kami sa sta. ana, nag babaha din dun, mababaw tulog namin kasi baka pumasok sa bahay ang tubig...:(
ReplyDeleteFortunately, Oselle (and thank God), our place here in Las Pinas has been spared from the floods. But just the same sleep is not easy when you know that people (just less than 1,000 meters from where you live) are up on their roof for the last 10 hours, wet, cold and no food and in the dark!
ReplyDeletePero nung nasa probinsya pa ako, ganun din kami kasi we lived along a river which usually breaks its banks during strong rains and storms. Alam ko di natutulog yung mga magulang ko for fear that the waters will rise. And when they do, I know from experience that they do so in very short time. Less than 30 minutes baha na ang bahay namin.
My heart goes out to all those I saw on TV last night. I couldn't sleep either. I just watched the coverage until they stopped it.
ReplyDeleteNang tumahimik kagabi, sabi nila eye of the storm daw yon. Mabuti hindi. Mabuti lumabas na si Ondoy.
ReplyDeleteKwidaw! May namumuo na naman daw accdg to PAGASA sa bandang silangan and could develop into another storm in three days - Typhoon Peping!
